Prasie of the day: week 4

May 18th Today I am Praising God for my Dad. He has always been there for me, even when we were both hardheaded and stubborn, (that's where I get it from), he has always come to me when I have needed him. Sometimes I forget how much I am like my dad. He is the most hardworking, honest man you will ever meet. When I was growing up, so many people would complement  my dad and how they could see me in him, and to this day I still take that a one of the best compliments I could ever receive. So to my Dad, for being you! May 19th As I travel to and from Little Rock today, I am able to sit on my couch and Praise the Lord for my safety as I travel long distances. May 20th Today as I was frantically working on this spreadsheet, that I use daily, I noticed a mistake, and all the fear comes up in me, then as I  start to panic, I realize, OK I didn't just mess up big time, Praise you Lord. LOL   May 21st Quite Time! Need I say more?   May 22nd Praise The Lord for

May 11th Happy Mothers Day! I am so thankful, and overjoyed that God chose me to be the mother of my Sweet baby boy. All children are a gift from God, and are angels, that God lends us. I am so thankful! May 12th Sometimes its the small things that you take for granted, yesterday we were without power for a few hours, not a big deal, but it makes you appreciate it when its not there. So today I am Praising God for electricity and the electricians that put their life on the line, so I can have lights, and AC. Also for my brother who is a lineman, and will risk his life, so we can have lights.   May 13th Today I am Praising God for another small thing, Internet. I know what you are thinking, what did we do 10 years ago without internet? What DID we do without Internet? LOL In today times, internet is such a huge part of our everyday lives, I have to admit, sometimes I am lost without it.   May 14th Since Mothers Day just passed and tomorrow is my birthday, t

May 4th After an entire weekend with a sick baby, and a high fever, today I find myself Praising God that Derek is now a normal temperature! We have been very fortunate with his health and this was the first time he has had a high temperature! May 5th Today I am thankful for laughter. I know it sounds silly, but laughter can make any situation better. A good day, Great. I am grateful to have the ability to hear, to understand, and to be able to enjoy, and laugh. Have you laughed today? May 6th Today was a very busy day, and I have to admit, I didn't have a "Praise of the Day" moment, but that doesn't mean that I don't have anything to Praise Him about. I woke up this morning, I was able to hold my child, Kiss my loving husband, go to a job that I love, and spend family night with my family. The list could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. Every moment is a Praise You Lord moment, for all he has given us.   May 7th Today,

In Honor of my birthday month I wanted to do things a little differently. For the month of May I will do a daily praise, something that happened that day, that had me saying Thank you Lord, Praise you! There is no way I will be able to do a post each day, so I will post weekly. Here is my week 1: Praises of the Day May 1st Today as we see more and more stories from the ones that survived the tornadoes in Northern Arkansas or the ones that lost loved ones, I am so thankful that it didn't get as bad here as predicted. I will continue to pray for those that are still struggling. May 2nd Today, as I am scrolling thought the news feed on Facebook, I read about a high school friend and how her and her husband lost their unborn baby! These things are never easy, so today and every day I am Praising God for my wonderful, energetic, cuttle-bug, almost 2 year old! May 3rd Today I am thankful for a wonderful, loving husband, who loves his family, and is willi

I don't know about you but I can't believe its already May, and that Derek is almost 2.  Guess I better get to planning a birthday party. Wait a minute, is that right, LOL I can't believe how fast times has flown by, or this year. Here at the Ray house, we live a pretty calm life. We love to spend time with each other at home on the weekends, with the occasional trip out here and there. For Easter, we went to Church, then headed out to my families house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. Most people post pictures of the whole family, all dressed up for Easter, but instead I will just post a picture of my handsome, little boy. Girls, watch out, I think my child is going to be a stud. LOL Easter Morning, this was the best picture I could get of us, granted I only tried a few times, if it doesn't work, then it doesn't work, this one was the best. LOL Family time is our favorite time. Every night around 8, we do Mother Goose Club, and Derek loves it, and
