Weekend recap

Image
Although this does not begin our weekend, I wanted to give an update on baby Dylan. So far through this pregnancy I have gained 20 points, that is half of what I gained with Derek, and I am very proud of that. With that being said, the Dr. was a little concerned about the size of the baby so we had to do an ultrasound. Here is a picture of our sweet baby's face, and this just makes me that more excited to meet him. After all the measurements, the baby is doing fine, and is weighing right where he needs to be, so there is no concern. Friday Afternoon his baby bedding came in, and I was so excited to open it and put in together in his crib. How cute is this: Over the past few months we have been fortunate to spend a lot of time with my brother and sister in-law, which means a lot of cousin time for Derek. These two love spending time together, and it makes me think of all the memories I have with my cousins, when I was little. Saturday night we had a b

Family Weekend Fun

Our 3 day weekend has come to an end, but it was a fun one. We began Friday night by spending the night at my parents house, and we were up bright and early to begin our trip to Collinsvile. Our First Stop: Incredible Pizza. This place was a great place to take 3 energetic boys, and a hungry family.  The food is buffet style, where you can get Pizza, Pasta, American, Mexican and Chinese food all at the same time. There is something for everyone. Once everyone was fed, we headed to the game room. The best way to describe it is to take a few rides from a fair, mix with an arcade and a Go-Kart Racetrack, and you have tons of things to do. The boys had a great time. After Incredible Pizza, we headed to Clint's house and hung out for the rest of the afternoon. That night we made a fire, cooked S'Mores, and enjoyed the cool breeze. It was a great night to be outside. I could tell Derek was getting pretty tired, so we called it a night a little early and aft

I have started the countdown for the baby's arrival, then I think about all the things that need to get done before he gets here, and I am not sure it will all get done, but that is ok. In a few short weeks, I will be cuddling a sweet baby boy and I can't wait. Here are a few updates on the final stretch of pregnancy: Baby boy is moving A LOT. I know that I am smaller this pregnancy, so I feel more of the little movements this time.  This baby hiccups at least once a day, and I am hoping that is a good sign, and that he will be healthy and there are no cord issues.  I am much calmer this time around. With Derek I was a basket case, and paranoid about everything. I am still nervous about delivery, but I know that I will be in good hands, and God has a plan.  I have been craving root beer floats, and I can't get enough blueberries, yet I don't over indulge on extra food. I am sad that I am not able to capture the feeling of baby movement, inside my stomach. I
