 Its a wonderful time of the year and Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love the food, fellowship, family.

Praise of the day: week 2

May 4th After an entire weekend with a sick baby, and a high fever, today I find myself Praising God that Derek is now a normal temperature! We have been very fortunate with his health and this was the first time he has had a high temperature! May 5th Today I am thankful for laughter. I know it sounds silly, but laughter can make any situation better. A good day, Great. I am grateful to have the ability to hear, to understand, and to be able to enjoy, and laugh. Have you laughed today? May 6th Today was a very busy day, and I have to admit, I didn't have a "Praise of the Day" moment, but that doesn't mean that I don't have anything to Praise Him about. I woke up this morning, I was able to hold my child, Kiss my loving husband, go to a job that I love, and spend family night with my family. The list could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. Holiday Season Part 1

Holiday Season 2018 We had a fun-filled holiday season with fun, family, and relaxing.  Back in November, Derek got glasses and he is seeing the world in a whole new way.  We spent a lot of time in the grocery store, and I got a glimpse of him at 13.  He is getting so big.  We celebrated his best friends birthday.  This kid is just as silly as his brother and loves his mamma with his whole heart.  Derek had his first Christmas party at school and I loved seeing him interact with his classmates.  The weekend before Christmas we celebrate with family, and I would say Derek is pretty happy with his gift.  Dylan loved his little track as well.  I love doing life with you, my love.  Derek loves spending time with his cousin Carson.  Hat day for the win.  I love my crew.

Random Stuff

Be prepared for a lot of cuteness, and a few selflies. We had a great week, although it was hard to get back into the swing of things after our long Thanksgiving break. It has been such a great time watching Derek grow and learn new words each and every single day. I know that daycare has a lot to do with this, and I am so grateful.  Daycare, by the way, is going great. Derek has brought home some of the cutest art projects, and that is all thanks to his teacher Sarah. Every time Derek sees one of his painting hanging on the fridge, he will run to me saying " Sarah paint." Well this weekend we made that a possibility at our house as well. We went to Hobby Lobby and got him all he would need to "paint."  Later that night, I had on my "fuzzy" socks, and Derek went crazy, saying "socks, Socks', and I quickly came to realize that he wanted fuzzy socks also, so here he is wearing my other pair of fuzzy socks and looking proud.  Here we ...
